I was born and raised in Boston as one of seven children, and I
can't think of a better place to be. I attended Boston University for a B.S. in English Education and received my Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College.
My previous career was as an English and Latin teacher at Boston Latin
Academy. Teaching was excellent preparation for walking first time
buyers through what can be a difficult process. I've bought, sold,
rented, rehabbed and converted several of my own properties. I put
this experience to work for my clients who describe me as
"knowledgeable, trustworthy and patient."
I'm proud to be the owner of Jamaica Hill Realty and am fortunate to work with such a talented group of people.

Homeownership remains the cornerstone of building household wealth. Helping people to partake in the opportunities that home-ownership affords is a gratifying experience for me. Having worked as a teacher and program director for 18 years before becoming a real estate agent, I believe, has helped me to be particularly suited to guiding people through the process of buying or selling a home. Negotiating one?s way through the current real estate market takes knowledge and skill. I try to make the process an interesting, productive and enjoyable opportunity for both buyers and sellers.
As a Roslindale homeowner for the past 21 years, I have enjoyed the many benefits of living in the Jamaica Plain/Roslindale area. The Arnold Arboretum, Franklin Park, and Jamaica Pond have been delightful spaces to enjoy on foot, skis or bike. The proximity to downtown Boston and major roads out of the city, and the Commuter Rail in Roslindale Square have made this a particularly convenient spot to live. My neighbors come from a variety of ethnic, racial and economic backgrounds, and the many restaurants and businesses in the area reflect and celebrate this diversity. If you are thinking of buying a home in the area, I would be happy to familiarize you with the various neighborhoods, as we search together for the home that is right for you. Likewise, if you already own a home, and are thinking of moving on, I would love to talk to you about how I can facilitate the sale of your home. I believe I can advise you expertly, handle all the many details, and generally make the process relatively stress free for you so that you can concentrate on achieving your real estate goals.

Good real estate agents not only have knowledge, talent and skills, but also genuinely like what they do. I love my job! Don't ever work with a real estate agent who isn't as excited as you are to find your new home or to face the challenge of getting the best buyer for the home you're selling.
I've lived in the Jamaica Plain/Boston area for 25 years, and have been selling real estate 15 of those years. A former chef, who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, I've successfully adapted my culinary strengths into the world of real estate. Strong traits such as professionalism, passion and confidence combined with the ability to communicate and negotiate, be informative, manage time and multitask are a guarantee you'll receive 4 star service.
Buying or selling your home is a big deal. It's something I take seriously and it's my duty to see that you are comfortable, confident and ready. Working together we can find the best fit whether it be a new home for you or the best buyers for the home you're selling. Please contact me and we can discuss the best plan for your next real estate investment!

I love Real Estate, I really do! I never grow tired of it. I consider myself lucky to be doing something I am so passionate about, and so darn good at. I have been helping buyers and sellers since 2001. My office, Jamaica Hill Realty is located in the heart of Jamaica Plain on Centre Street. Our company motto is "Honest Advice, Genuine People". We truly do live by those words. I believe a Realtor can be very successful and still be ethical, honest, and have your best interest in mind always! There is simply no other way to do business.
As a Realtor, I am energetic about this business, knowledgeable, communicative, a negotiator, organized, and professional. I explain in thorough detail the process to you and am there every single step of the way to walk you through it and provide all the services that will make that buying or selling chapter of your life an enjoyable experience. Buying and selling a home is a very big deal. In fact it's one of the biggest deals you'll ever make in your life and I take it very seriously. The heart and soul of my business is referrals and repeat customers so I know I'm doing something right! It's the biggest compliment I can receive.
I was Born and raised in Massachusetts and also lived in New York City for 5 ½ years. I hold a Master's Degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY., and have worked in the marketing/design departments for companies such as People Magazine, InStyle Magazine, Honeywell, and small Dot.com start-ups. So, I definitely have an eye for design and details and strong marketing skills.
I currently live in West Roxbury with my husband Chris and our Maltese, Lolly. I'm a Vegan and love to cook and swap veg recipes with people. When time and weather allows, we love to work in our English Garden inspired backyard or head down to Martha's Vineyard.

With 11 years of experience in Boston as both a Sales and Rental agent, I have a broad knowledge of the current real estate market.
I enjoy helping people with their real estate goals. I take special care to communicate in a timely manner with every client; lack of access to agents is one of the most common concerns expressed by real estate clients nowadays.
I would be happy to discuss your situation in detail. Please feel free to call me directly at 617.922.3369 or e-mail

"An Englishman's home is his castle" is a common expression in my native country of England. I believe the pride of homeownership embodied in these few words is applicable to everyone.
Born and raised in Liverpool, and as the eldest son of a General Contractor whom I worked alongside for a number of years, I have had a connection to and an understanding of peoples' homes for as long as I can remember. It's fair to say that real estate has been as much a part of my staple diet as fish and chips are for many of my fellow countrymen.
I have lived in the United States since 1997. I originally became a licensed Realtor in 2002 in San Francisco, where I lived for the first seven years of my time on this side of The Pond, before moving to Boston in 2004. I have resided in Jamaica Plain or Roslindale ever since and am very attached to the local community I live in and the region as a whole that I now serve.
As a father of two young children, I can empathize with the needs and anxieties of families when faced with buying or selling their home. Similarly, as one who has moved from one continent to another, as well as across this great country I call home, I am well versed in the prerequisite attention to detail inherent in long distance relocation.
While honesty, integrity, loyalty and proficient representation of a client's interests are fundamental requirements of a Realtor, I also believe a sense of humor is a massive benefit if the experience is to be enjoyed. As one who performed stand up comedy for a number of years, and still manages to regularly write new material, I rarely have trouble bringing a smile to a situation.
Feel free to contact me with any of your real estate questions. I look forward to having the pleasure of representing your best interests.
